The Ginger infusions can be prepared in many different ways, both with cold and hot water .

A very simple recipe is that of ginger and lemon detox water . All you need is a lemon, water and it ginger. Infuse half a lemon cut into slices and half a rhizome of fresh ginger in a 1-liter jug ​​of cold water overnight. Consume the resulting drink within a couple of days. You will notice a diuretic and purifying effect.

To combat coughs, colds and indigestion, decoctions are recommended instead of ginger. The decoction is prepared by boiling half a ginger root in a cup of water for about 10 minutes with the lid on. To enhance the antibiotic and antibacterial action, you can add a clove of garlic or a teaspoon of honey. Before consuming the decoction, it must be filtered.

A very famous remedy both to combat coughs and to purify the liver of toxins is the ginger and lemon tea. Preparing it is very simple: boil 300 ml of water, add 2-3 slices of peeled fresh ginger and boil for another ten minutes. Add a lemon wedge, a teaspoon of honey and consume the herbal tea when it is still hot.

If you want, you can also add a piece of fresh turmeric to the basic recipe of ginger tea, or a spoonful of chamomile flower heads, a teaspoon of green tea or other spices such as cinnamon and cloves. In short, don’t be afraid to experiment!
