Simple dessert to prepare in two versions, the classic one and the one with the Thermomix. Here’s how the apple crumble is made.

Perfect to serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, the recipe is typical of the Anglo-Saxon world and has apples as its main ingredient. Today I leave you the apple crumble recipe, both in the classic version and in the one with the thermomix. You can’t wait to throw yourself into the preparation, even we are not in the skin and we assure you that the best moment will be that of tasting. Fasten your aprons, here is the recipe.

Preparation of the apple crumble

  1. Start by peeling the apples and coring them then cut them into not too small cubes.
  2. Place a saucepan on the stove, melt the butter and add the diced apples.
  3. Add the lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes .
  5. Turn off the heat and proceed to the preparation of the crumble. Put flour, butter and brown sugar in a bowl, work quickly with your hands to obtain a crumbly mixture.
  6. Take a baking dish, line it with baking paper and pour the cooked apples on the bottom, cover with the crumble and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° for 35/40 minutes or in any case until the surface is golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve.

If, on the other hand, you have the Thermomix available, you can use it for the preparation of the crumble in order to speed up the preparation.

Preparation of the crumble with the thermomix

  1. Start by peeling the apples, core them and cut them into cubes.
  2. Then place them in the thermomix jug, add the cinnamon powder, butter and sugar.
  3. Cover with the lid and cook for 5 minutes in anticlockwise mode at 100 ° speed.
  4. Once cooked, transfer the cooked apples into a baking dish lined with baking paper.
  5. Clean the jug and put in the flour, sugar and butter.
  6. Cover with the lid and run for 10 seconds at speed 6.
  7. Pour the crumble over the apples and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes .
  8. Remove from the oven and serve.
