Spices and herbs make carrot sticks in the oven a really tasty side dish able to conquer everyone.
Let’s face it, nothing can replace french fries and yet we often have to deal with restrictive diets and diets. This is where the light and tasty baked carrot sticks come into play, perfect to serve as a side dish. To prepare them, very few ingredients are enough and they lend themselves to many customizations.
To get even better baked crispy carrot sticks, we used various aromatic herbs such as chives and parsley, but also spices (pepper and garlic powder). Already in this way we can guarantee that the carrot sticks will conquer even the most suspicious palates, but with the addition of parmesan and mixed seeds , the last rows will also fall. How to make the recipe for baked carrot sticks
- First wash the carrots under running water. If they are organic it is not necessary to remove the skin, vice versa better yes.
- Then cut them into sticks , just as if they were chips, and put them in a bowl.
- Season them with oil , salt , pepper and garlic powder and give a first stir.
- Then add the mixed seeds to taste and the chopped aromatic herbs to the knife.
- Stir again, add the Parmesan and spread the sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cook at 180 ° C for 35 minutes .
- Eat the freshly made carrot sticks and you will feel what a delight!
