Cumin water has remarkable properties. It is considered to be one of the best methods to strengthen the immune system naturally. Why? Due to the large amount of antioxidants contained in it.

In addition, it is an excellent ally of the digestive process: by stimulating the secretion of digestive enzymes , reducing acidity and promoting the reduction of abdominal gases, it helps those who use it to maintain a flat stomach and a deflated belly.

Its benefits don’t end there, cumin water, rich in iron , reduces the symptoms of anemia . And, thanks to the presence of potassium inside, it helps the cardiac system in carrying out its functions.

In addition, this drink of Indian origin is said to accelerate the metabolism, promoting weight loss and detoxification of the body. This last point also affects the skin , which will consequently become shinier.

It should also not be forgotten that cumin water, by easing tensions and decreasing stress, also helps to have a more peaceful sleep .

How do you prepare it?

It is an extremely simple process, even for the most inexperienced. Just fill a glass with water and add two tablespoons of cumin seeds inside. After that, let stand for about ten hours (it is recommended to prepare the glass in the evening so that it is ready in the morning).

Before drinking, remember to filter the water: you must not drink the seeds too. If all went well, the water will have a brownish color .

There is also another variant of cumin water. In India, one liter of water is boiled with three tablespoons of spice seeds inside for about fifteen / sixteen minutes. After the process, sift the water. For a more delicate flavor, add a little honey or sugar . Add some ginger to accentuate the benefits.

Although many recommend drinking two glasses a day, it is important, before starting to take this water, to ask for advice from your doctor , especially in the case of allergic people, with liver disease or undergoing hormonal therapies.
