Did you know that boiled and soft-boiled eggs can also be cooked in the dishwasher? Let’s see how to do it!
There are many ways to cook eggs : fried in a pan, fried, boiled, soft-boiled. The last two types of cooking are certainly the healthiest, because they do not include the addition of oil or other fats.
Normally, a pot with water and a stove are used, but there are also other, less conventional methods of preparing a boiled egg. For example, to save energy, you can use the dishwasher. Does that sound a little strange to you? Let’s see how to cook boiled and soft-boiled eggs using the appliance that is usually used to wash dishes!
How to cook eggs in the dishwasher
First of all, it is important to clarify that, for effective energy savings, the eggs must be cooked in the dishwasher when it is ready for a full load wash. Do not turn it on to cook one egg !

Upload dishwasher with dishes and cookware as usual, then put the egg in a jar filled with water in airtight glass. Make sure that the cap is screwed and close it tightly, so that the water contained in the jar does not come out and does not enter that with detergent used to wash the dishes.
Put the egg jar in the dishwasher in a place where it cannot fall or move . Start the wash and, once finished, take out the barter and let it cool. Finally open it and enjoy your egg.
Always pay attention to the type of washing chosen: with the eco one, with temperatures from 50 to 55 degrees, you will get a creamy and almost raw egg internally; with washing at 60-65 degrees, however, you will have a perfect soft-boiled egg; with strong washing , at a temperature of 70-75 degrees, you will have a boiled egg.
Before eating the egg, make sure that the jar has remained tightly closed throughout the wash and that no water has entered from the outside.
