It does not need washing and it takes just a few minutes to make it: here’s how to make your own!

It does not require water, the dry shampoo is applied directly to dirty hair making it clean throughout the day. Its power is to absorb excess sebum thanks to the powders contained within it which also give volume to the hair.

How to do it? First of all, without having to resort to various ingredients, you can opt for talcum powder : this product has the function of cleansing the scalp poured in small quantities on a cotton pad. But be careful not to abuse it: the talcum powder on the hair could flake the skin and increase the production of dandruff. Furthermore, it is highly not recommended for those with heavy hair ; for this reason the product should be used sporadically .

Another ally for hair is baking soda : with 25 grams of baking soda and a few other ingredients you can create a homemade dry shampoo. Here is the complete recipe : 25 grams of baking soda, 50 grams of starch, 50 grams of rice flour and 4 drops of coconut oil. The procedure is very simple: you have to pour the starch into a sterilized glass jar and mix it with the flour and baking soda. After obtaining a homogeneous mixture, add the coconut oil and continue stirring . Once ready, pour the product on your hair.

A homemade dry shampoo can also be obtained by just mixing talcum powder with a few drops of lavender essential oil or lemon juice. Mix the two ingredients together and, once you get the powdery consistency , put it in a glass jar.
