Edematous cellulite: find out what it is and how to treat it

Edematous cellulite is the most common form of cellulite. Find out how to recognize and treat it with some effective remedies.

Edematous cellulite is the one that all or almost all of them have to face in life. It is in fact the very first stage of cellulite, the one that is softer and therefore more easily treatable. Unlike the other stages, it tends not to be always visible but to appear only when the affected part is compressed which in this case takes on the famous orange peel effect. A problem that many know and which fortunately has several solutions.

Edematous cellulite: the most effective remedies

When you suffer from edematous cellulite, there are so many things to do and all of them usually effective .

The first move to make is certainly to take care of nutrition and improve the microcirculation. Often the right diet (resulting in weight loss), sports and fluid intake can really work wonders.

When this is not enough, you can obviously resort to the use of creams, carrying out circular massages in the affected areas. Alternatively, you can also undergo sessions of lymphatic drainage massages, aimed at improving the microcirculation in the areas most affected by cellulite.

Edematous cellulite or fibrous cellulite?

As already mentioned, edematous cellulite represents the first stage of cellulite and for this reason it is not always recognizable. In fact, when left untreated, it can turn into fibrous cellulite. This, unlike the first, appears visible to the naked eye and is harder to the touch.

For fibrous cellulite, remedies are almost always more urgent and demanding. In fact, diet and massages are not enough (which can still alleviate the problem) and often it is necessary to intervene with ultrasounds or more invasive remedies such as liposuction. If not treated, the risk is to reach the last stage of cellulite, also known as sclerotic cellulite.

It is therefore very important to learn to recognize the first hints of cellulite immediately and work with it in a natural way, in order to immediately obtain good results, allowing the microcirculation to return to normal which will be reflected on the legs making them smoother and without hollows.
