The egg mask is excellent for strengthening and nourishing the hair. Let’s see some recipes, how to prepare and apply them.
For a nourished and silky hair (naturally) an egg mask is one of the oldest grandmother’s remedies. The egg on the hair has numerous properties : the yolk strengthens them, makes them shiny and eliminates frizz, while the egg white counteracts their excessive greasiness. There are several recipes, each suitable for a different type of hair. Let’s see which are the best !
Egg mask for hair: 4 recipes
-An excellent nourishing hair mask is based on eggs, oil and honey . In a bowl, beat well one or two egg yolks, then add a spoonful of olive oil and three spoons of honey. When you have obtained a homogeneous mixture, apply it on dry hair before shampooing and leave it to act for about half an hour. Goodbye to frizzy hair !
-To make hair shiny and untangled, the perfect mask is based on eggs and vinegar . Mix well an egg yolk, a spoonful of apple cider vinegar, half a spoonful of honey and a spoonful of warm water. The soft mask thus obtained should be applied to wet hair after shampooing, as if it were a conditioner. Leave on for 20 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
-If your hair is oily , before shampooing make a compress with an egg white , the juice of half a lemon and half a spoonful of honey. Massage the mixture on the scalp and on the lengths, leave it on for 20 minutes and then proceed with the shampoo as usual.
-To accelerate hair growth, the best mask is the one based on eggs and mustard powder. Rehydrate a teaspoon of mustard powder with warm water and add it to a beaten egg. When the ingredients are perfectly blended, apply the mask obtained on the scalp and leave it to act for 5 minutes.
