When it comes to facial dermatitis or eyelid eczema, it is important to always remember that it is a problem that, although not serious, is best addressed in a timely manner. Which is even more true when the disorder reveals itself in the eye area.

Basically, it is an inflammation of the skin that goes from the eyelids to the entire area surrounding the eyes and usually occurs due to an allergic reaction or direct contact with irritants, such as makeup or too aggressive creams.
Among the most common symptoms are:

– Itchy eyelids
Edema
– Dry and / or flaky skin around the eyes
– Excessive tearing
– Erythema

In the presence of these symptoms it is important to understand if the cause is actually allergic or if it can be linked to irritating products. Either way, the first thing to do is to stop using the suspicious products.
