How to prepare the limoncello cake recipe

  1. Break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and the grated rind of the lemon and whisk everything with an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy.

  5. Let the cake cool completely then continue with the icing (optional). Mix the icing sugar with a few drops of lemon juice (or limoncello), until the icing is not too fluid.
