Preparation of the gluten-free chocolate salami recipe

  1. To prepare gluten-free chocolate salami, first you need to melt the dark chocolate and butter. Place them in a steel bowl together and melt them slowly in a double boiler. It is not recommended to melt them in the microwave because the chocolate could burn .
  2. In a bowl, coarsely crumble the gluten-free biscuits.
  3. Also add the cocoa powder and sugar and start mixing.
  4. Add the melted butter and melted chocolate to your mixture.
  5. Finally, add the milk a little at a time . If the mixture is too dry, add another tablespoon of milk.
  6. Pour the mixture onto a sheet of baking paper and try to give it the shape of a cylinder.
  7. Roll the salami with parchment paper and close it as if it were a candy.
  8. Cover it again with a sheet of aluminum foil and let it rest in the fridge for at least 3 hours . After that it is ready to be served and cut into slices.

For the gluten-free and lactose-free chocolate salami version, replace the cow’s milk with the vegetable milk of your choice . Instead for the lactose-free and egg-free one, remember to use shortbread biscuits that do not contain these ingredients. And if you don’t have any particular intolerances, you can always try the classic version of the chocolate dessert


You can keep the gluten-free chocolate salami in the refrigerator, wrapped in a sheet of parchment paper, for 3 days .
