How to protect your hair during winter

-Perfectly dry your hair. You do not need to be a professional to blow-dry your hair in the perfect way. It might be difficult to style it as we wish, but we must now the basics. Do not put the hair dryer too closse to your hair, otherwise the high temperature could damage it. Moreover, before drying it, you need to dab and not rub it with a towel. If you rub your hair, you risk to damage it.

-Use hair styling products. In summer or winter, hair needs protection. Styling products are a must have of our hair care routine. This type of products protects from hairdryer heat, outdoor temperatures and sudden changes of temperature. According to the type of hair you have, there are specific products.

-Moisturize once a week. Once you know cold temperatures weaken the hair, you need to moisturize it as much as you can. At least once a week, use a hair mask: you can buy it in cosmetic shops or simply make it at home. One of the most used ingredients for hair masks is avocado.

-Wear a hat. If you are going to spend a day out of the house, you should wear a hat. Choose wool and avoid synthetic fibers. The latter make the hair frizzy.
