Let’s talk about some recipes that can help you make your children’s snacks greedy and, moreover, recipes that are easy to make and with few ingredients. In these recipes you will find only a few items and ingredients that are available in any supermarket. However, we have based ourselves on proposing: fruit and healthy products for the diet of the little ones.

  • Carrot and chocolate muffins

This recipe is really super greedy, but at the same time it has all the characteristics to be a healthy and delicate snack to offer to your children. It is a recipe that we can also propose for gluten intolerant children, obviously using other types of flours.

Ingredients for 4/6 children:

  • 2 eggs
  • 120 grams of sugar
  • 400 grams of carrots
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 30 grams of butter
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 120 grams of flour of the type you prefer
  • A pinch of salt
  • 80 grams of dark chocolate
  • And finally a sprinkling of icing sugar

As you have seen, the preparation of this recipe is largely based on carrots as the main element and on dark chocolate. As for chocolate, you can choose the one that suits you best, perhaps focusing in particular on the percentage of cocoa (we recommend a good 75%).

For the preparation you will need:

  • Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar, eggs, selected flour and yeast
  • Add the tablespoon of oil and mix the dough
  • Chop the carrots in a mixer and add them to the previously created dough
  • Break up the dark chocolate even coarsely and mix it with the mixture
  • With a small piece of butter, grease the muffin molds and fill them with the mixture
  • Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 25/30 minutes
  • And to conclude a nice sprinkling of icing sugar

This recipe is also perfect for a birthday party, of course, inform yourself first if all the children invited can eat starchy foods and if necessary, provide an alternative recipe with different flours!

  • Cocoa and hazelnut biscuits with blueberry jam

Another delicious recipe that you can offer your children with healthy elements and products to be discovered. These biscuits are small sweets to be enjoyed with a greedy dough and a soft filling, perfect for a good and healthy snack to be combined with a glass of milk.

Ingredients for 4/6 children (about 30 biscuits):

  • Hazelnut flour 80 grams
  • 00 flour (or flour of your choice) 240 grams
  • Butter 120 grams
  • Icing sugar 140 grams
  • Hazelnut paste 30 grams
  • Bitter cocoa powder 13 grams
  • Vanilla pod 1
  • Eggs 1 medium
  • Blueberry jam or a choice of red fruits, a jar of 300 grams

For the preparation you will need:

  • Prepare the cocoa and hazelnut shortcrust pastry: pour the sifted flour, butter and hazelnut flour into the mixer or into a baking dish. Add the egg and vanilla
  • Add the sifted icing sugar and the unsweetened cocoa
  • After forming a loaf, mix and wrap it in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  • Take the dough from the refrigerator and then with a pastry cutter (which can also be made with foil or simply with a small glass) create the 30 biscuits and on the half or 15 make hearts with the special molds.
  • Place all the biscuits on baking paper inside a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 ° and then let them cool
  • After these procedures, spread your favorite jam on the discs and close the half with the little heart.

Children will be delighted to receive these round-shaped biscuits with a soft heart inside!
