Heat, sweat and … inflammation? Here are grandma’s remedies for dermatitis


With the summer, sweat dermatitis could appear more easily: here are the natural remedies to cure it and get rid of it!

Sweat dermatitis is skin inflammation caused by several factors that cause itchy skin. This, in turn, can cause several consequences such as burning, redness, flaking, dryness and swelling. The problem can occur due to excessive sweating or strong exposure to sunlight and, to avoid flaking and drying the skin, it is essential to resist itching by resorting to small measures to alleviate and treat the problem .

Before resorting to a doctor specializing in dermatology, we can try to solve the problem with do-it-yourself treatments using natural remedies. Let’s find out what they are!

Sweat dermatitis: natural remedies

Chamomile. Chamomile has a soothing and refreshing effect, for this reason it can be useful to resort to compresses and help relieve pain.

Rice starch. Rice starch is the most widely used remedy especially for children. In fact, the latter are more likely to contract the problem because of their delicate and sensitive skin. Rice starch soothes redness and makes the skin soft and dry (it is also very useful when bathing )

Sage. A sage infusion is all that is needed to alleviate the symptoms of the problem: gauze soaked in the infusion must be applied to the affected area.

-Other tricks? Drink at least two liters of water a day and possibly also take a fruit centrifuge. Opt for a natural soap and avoid products that are too aggressive for the skin; do not touch the vesicles at all, otherwise the problem may worsen. Finally, avoid in any way alcoholic drinks and foods full of fats and spicy spices. It is also important to choose the right clothing carefully: yes to natural fibers, transplants and light colors.
