How to take it and possible side effects
Usually, the chlorella seaweed is taken in powder form . It can be used to prepare drinks: just add a spoonful of chlorella powder in about 250 ml of water . Alternatively, vegetable milk or natural fruit juice can be used to dilute the powder.
However, due to its flavor, powdered chlorella may not be for everyone. In these cases, the tablet version can be purchased on the market.
In general, it is recommended not to exceed the dose of ten grams (or the equivalent in tablets) per day, however, each individual has different needs. For this reason, it is good to seek advice from an expert before using it.
Among the side effects deriving from the use of chlorella, we mention possible digestion problems in the first period of use. In addition, due to the high concentration of chlorophyll, it can make the skin more sensitive to the sun . To absolutely avoid in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergy to mold, sensitivity to iodine and problems with the immune system.
