One cup diet to lose weight: how does it work?
You can follow this diet twice a week, by dividing the menu in two days. The first day, for breakfast you will eat a cup of boiled wholewheat rice, a cup of mixed berries and green tea or coffee.
For lunch, you will have a cup of boiled rice with a cup of steamed vegetables, together with a fruit or a coffee. Your dinner will be based just on a cup of pilaf rice and soy sprouts, together with a cup of peas and carrots. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks consist in fruits or fruit salads.
During the second day, you need to eat a cup of rice at every meal, as for the first day, but at breakfast you can add a fruit, tea or coffee and orange juice. At lunch, you can add a cup of mixed vegetables and for dinner you can eat asparagus risotto. You snacks will be based on fruit.
Season all your dishes with little salt and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Moreover, we suggest you to drink a lot of water and to exercise regularly, in order to have a healthier lifestyle.
