The dermatologist José Raúl González said that bathing more than once a day and washing carefully is more harmful than do not do it at all. The reason is that showering too often destroys our skin protections, as the corneum and acid mantel.

According to the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV), the skin only bears one shower a day.
