The kitchen countertop is undoubtedly one of those areas of the house that need to be disinfected daily . The reason? It is used regularly and germs and bacteria could transfer to the food we eat. It is therefore easy to understand how keeping this area clean is of fundamental importance.
Unlike what one might think, disinfecting the kitchen countertop does not require the use of expensive products. Three simple natural products are enough to find, let’s go and discover them.
Disinfect the kitchen surface with vinegar

Maybe not everyone is aware of it, but apple cider vinegar is an excellent disinfectant. In particular, it works as an antiseptic and prevents the multiplication of bacteria.
To disinfect the kitchen surface with vinegar, get a container with the sprayer and mix water and vinegar inside. The latter must represent one fifth of the total. After mixing properly , what is obtained can be used instead of the classic disinfectant sprays that can be purchased in supermarkets.
If you want to increase the effectiveness of everything, you can add a little lemon juice to the mixture.
The disinfectant power of essential oils
When it comes to natural disinfectants, essential oils are undoubtedly one of the best methods that can be used. L ‘ essential oil of tea tree and l’ essential oil of eucalyptus are two alternatives to disinfect your kitchen floor. The former is undoubtedly one of the best natural antibacterial substances . The second, in addition to eliminating dirt and bacteria, releases a pleasant aroma in the air .
To prepare a good disinfectant with eucalyptus essence, just add 75ml of essential oil every half liter of water. If you are using tea tree, add 6/7 drops of essence, always every half liter of water.
If you decide to use tea tree oil, there is another version of the disinfectant, especially indicated for areas with a high concentration of germs and bacteria . This version, in which the relationship between water and essence remains the same, differs from the other in the addition of hydrogen peroxide (about 25 ml) and lemon juice (about 15 ml).
