To understand well what lactic ferments are used for, you must first understand what effects they have on the body. These elements in fact serve to protect the intestine from external bacteria, but in reality they perform a protective function for the whole organism. They also help the functions of the colon , preventing irritable bowel syndrome and other problems.

Most often, however, they are used to rebalance and stabilize the activity of the intestinal bacterial flora, even after taking particularly powerful drugs . In general we can say that it is possible to supplement them through the diet by consuming cheese or yogurt.

We have just talked about probiotics, but we must know that there are other types of lactic ferments. These, in addition to rebalancing the bacterial flora, perform other functions. Among the most widespread and used, we can find the Lactobacillus , of which the following types are reported:

As we have said, eating yogurt and cheese is the best way to integrate lactic ferments into our body, but let’s try to understand when to use them. In fact, even if in general there are no contraindications, it is good to use these products to treat pathologies such as:
