Dr. Alberico Lemme has developed a new food philosophy. This dietary regimen is divided into two phases. The first is the weight loss one: it only lasts 20 days and can make you lose up to 10 kilos.

The second phase is used to keep the achieved results and lasts 3 months. What is the trick to lose weight with this diet? Knowing food biochemical  principles and learn how to use it in the correct way, not overloading our body.

Lemme diet rules

Say goodbye to your kitchen scale to weigh each calorie you eat during the day. With the Lemme diet, you will lose weight by eating your main meals at a precise time, while avoiding certain “forbidden” foods. They are the  most controversial thing of this diet.

You should limit your intake of fruit and vegetables, foods that are usually recommended in large quantities. According to dr Lemme, our body reacts to these foods by producing excess body fat. These foods may be reintroduced in the second phase of the diet.

Other forbidden foods are sugar and sweeteners, salt, vinegar, bread, milk, and cheese. You can eat all the carbohydrates and proteins, but not together. Meat, fish and pasta seasoned only with extra virgin olive oil and spices, are at the base of the Lemme diet.

It is very important to schedule your meals. At breakfast, you should only eat carbohydrates, by 9.30 in the morning. You should eat lunch and dinner between 12 and 14 and between 19 and 21, respectively. During the day, you can also eat two snacks: one between 10 and 11, and another one between 16 and 17.
