Neem oil: properties and benefits

Neem oil has antibacterial , antiviral, antibacterial, antiseptic, antifungal and antiparasitic properties. It is therefore useful both to fight bacterial and fungal infections and to ward off parasites .
It is widely used in cosmetic preparations such as shampoos, toothpastes, mouthwashes, soaps and skin creams. Naturally, however, its smell is quite pungent and unpleasant, therefore it is often added to perfumed essential oils.

Neem oil: what uses are possible?
Neem oil on the hair is excellent in case of dandruff and itching , because thanks to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties, it helps to defeat the bacteria responsible for inflammation.
In addition, it can be used to prevent and eliminate lice , even in children. In fact, as we have seen, neem oil is insecticide. For the same reason, it is possible to use neem oil for dogs to fight fleas . Applying a few drops on the dog’s hair helps to remove parasites and mosquitoes, without the typical side effects of chemical pesticides.
Thanks to its antibiotic properties, it can be used to treat earache by pouring a warm drop into each ear, like our grandmothers did with olive oil.
Much appreciated is the effect of neem oil on acne , because, in addition to having antibacterial and antibiotic properties that reduce inflammation, it helps regulate sebum production . Lastly, using neem oil for psioriasis and herpes helps fight itching and burning.
