Pomegranate juice: how to prepare it

At the supermarket you can easily find packaged pomegranate juice , so that you always have a supply. But you can also prepare it at home, starting with the whole fruit. If you have a pomegranate squeezer , just wash it well under running water and cut it in two, then squeeze it vigorously.

Of course, you can also make juice without a specific accessory. For example, did you know you can use a potato masher ? After peeling the pomegranate and removing the white membrane, divide it into pieces and mash it until you get a uniform juice .

If, on the other hand, you have a juicer or an extractor, then all you have to do is insert the pieces of fruit into the container and let the appliance do the work for you. Remember that pomegranate juice should be consumed freshly prepared to take advantage of all its benefits. However, you can keep it for a few hours in the refrigerator.
