To eat or not to eat? This is the question
Eating the less you can right after your workout is the worst thing to do. If you want to lose weight, eliminate fat, tone up or simply keep fit, it is not necessary to eat less after the gym: you need to learn what food to choose.
Your post-workout snack has to be a perfect mix of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, in order to nourish your body in the right way.
– A slice of wholewheat bread with tuna, oil and lemon. This fish is perfect because it is rich in proteins and omega 3, that is good fats.
– Seasonal vegetable and fruit smoothie. It is rich in fibers, vitamins and other important substances to boost your energies. You can also add a teaspoon of powdered proteins to your smoothie.
– A handful of dried fruit. This food is energizing and healthy. Moreover, it is rich in potassium, in order to get it back after the workout.
