One of the most famous remedies is certainly the cucumber slice wrap. Cucumber is rich in water and zinc, it refreshes the eyes, decongests them, deflates them and fights bags and dark circles under the eyes. Just keep a cucumber in the fridge, cut it into slices and apply them to the eyes after removing make-up, leaving them on for about fifteen minutes.
Alternatively, you can use cornflower water, which not only deflates the eyelids, but also soothes irritated eyes and fights redness. Use it to wet cotton discs, then apply to the eyes and leave on for a few minutes. If you do not have cornflower water, you can replace it with rosewater, which is equally effective.
