How to prepare the broccoli and potato quiche recipe

  1. First wash the broccoli and cut it into florets. Blanch them in salted water for 10 minutes , then sauté them in a pan with a drizzle of oil, a clove of garlic and a piece of chilli. If necessary, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes cut in half and peeled. It will take about 20 minutes for them to be tender if pricked with a fork. Then drain and cut into cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the broccoli, potatoes, a pinch of salt and the eggs. Flavor with grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Unroll the puff pastry on the bottom of a baking dish, pour the freshly prepared filling and fold the edges slightly.
  5. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 30 minutes.

We advise you to let the savory potato and broccoli pie cool for about ten minutes before serving it, perhaps as a quick side dish.

With savory pies, the take-and-place never creates too much confusion. You can in fact make this sort of salty broccoli and potatoes without eggs if you don’t have them at home or you are simply looking for something lighter. Lovers of strong flavors, on the other hand, cannot fail to appreciate the savory broccoli, potatoes and bacon pie. To prepare it, brown the diced bacon (100 grams) in a pan, without adding other fats, then, once the broccoli is ready, drain well and sauté together with it. Continue as per recipe.

Finally, for a vegetarian variant, we recommend the savory pie with potatoes, broccoli and smoked cheese. Simply add the diced cheese to the dough and that’s it. 130 grams will be enough to give the cake a leap of incredible flavor!
