Cold pasta is undoubtedly one of the preparations that are most popular on these occasions, below we offer you the recipe for pasta salad and cooked ham with peas, green beans, cherry tomatoes and peppers a combination of ingredients that we find in spring and summer. Preparation of the pasta and cooked ham salad

  1. Put a pot of water on the fire, bring to a boil, salted water and plunge inside the dough. Cook it for about 10 minutes or in any case for the time indicated on the package, drain it, season with a drizzle of oil and put it in a baking dish to let it cool.
  2. In the meantime, you can dedicate yourself to the preparation of the dressing: wash the tomatoes, remove the stalks and cut them in half, also wash the yellow pepper then cut it first into sticks and then chunks . Wash the green beans, trim them and cut these into chunks too.
  3. Blanch the green beans and peas for 3-4 minutes in lightly salted boiling water. Meanwhile, cut the cooked ham into cubes. Drain the vegetables, pass them under cold water to stop cooking.
  4. Now pour the cold pasta into a large salad bowl, add the tomatoes and peppers , the cooked ham and finally also the green beans and peas. Drizzle with a drizzle of oil, stir, cover with cling film and let it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Remember that, if you have already added the cherry tomatoes, the storage time decreases drastically as this vegetable tends to turn sour after a few hours . We do not recommend freezing in the freezer.
