This food regime plans to skip the mid-morning and afternoon snacks. However, experts do not agree, because these meals activate the metabolism. According to the diet of the astronauts, you have breakfast with a 60 grams sandwich and a cup of coffee without sugar.
For lunch, you need to eat proteins, such as meat, fish or vegetables, together with seasonal vegetables. Instead, your dinner can be the same as lunch, or you can eat one yogurt with dried or fresh fruits.
Experts do not completely agree with this food regime. They rather recommend a healthy and balanced Mediterranean diet to get back in shape. Obviously, you need to match it with physical activity, even if it is just a 30 minutes walk per day. Plus, it’s essential to drink plenty of water, at least a litre and a half per day, or herbal teas.
