With this product, you can make a mask to leave your skin fresh and renewed. Moreover, it helps freeing the pores and eliminate dirt. Choose a toothpaste which does not contain toxic ingredients for your skin. So the first thing you should do is to read its label, to make sure it does not contain sodium fluoride or sodium dodecyl sulfate.
Dissolve some toothpaste in a cup of hot water. While you let it cool, clean your face. Then, apply the mixture on your face but on the eye contour. Let act for 5 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Your skin will look more radiant.
In order to fight these annoying blemishes, you can use toothpaste, as it dryes pimples out. Other than being a powerful antibacterial lotion, it is also useful to avoid bacterial growth, which can worsen the blemish or cause new ones.
Wash your face with water and soap. Apply the toothpaste directly on the pimple, making sure to cover it all. Leave for one hour and a half, then rinse with lukewarm or cold water.
How to create a face detergent with toothpaste
For a DIY detergent, you just need to make sure the product does not contain substances that can irritate your skin.
Preparation and application
Dissolve some toothpaste in a glass of water. Consider you skin sensitivity, but do not use more than one teaspoon of it. Use this mixture as a normal detergent: apply it on your face without rubbing. Then, gently rinse it away, dab your skin with a towel and apply some moisturizer.
Toothpaste on skin: side effects
Not all dermatologists agree on using this product in this way. Their majority of them thinks it’s not healthy, because it can irritate the skin and cause cracks.
It seems some of toothpaste ingredients can dry the skin out. Their advice is to use it with great moderation and to always pay attention to its ingredients.
