Soft and fragrant, the air fryer yogurt plumcake is perfect for a gourmet break, whether it's breakfast or a snack.

Preparing desserts with the air fryer is as simple as it is fast. The beauty of this new appliance, as we have already pointed out several times, is that it consumes less energy than the oven and also allows you to significantly reduce cooking times . We put it to the test by preparing the yogurt plumcake in an air fryer.

Soft and fragrant, it is perfect for breakfast or a snack . You can prepare it either with plain yogurt or choose one with fruit or vanilla to get a different flavor every time. Furthermore, the yogurt plumcake in the air fryer can also be made in a single-portion version , using paper cups. The result will be very similar to purchased plumcakes.

How to make yoghurt plumcake recipe in an air fryer

  1. Combine the eggs with the sugar in a bowl and mix everything with an electric mixer until the mixture is light and frothy.
  2. Incorporate the yogurt, milk, seed oil and finish working everything always with the whips.
  3. Add the flour and baking powder and give one last quick mix.
  4. At this point all that remains is to pour the mixture into the loaf pan or into single-portion molds and cook at 170°C for 25-30 minutes . If you use small molds, 15-18 minutes will suffice. In both cases, the toothpick test will reveal whether the plumcake is dry: insert it in the center of the cake and make sure it comes out dry.
  5. Once ready, remove from the oven and leave to cool before serving, decorating as desired with a sprinkling of icing sugar.

storage

The yoghurt plumcake can be kept under a confectioner's hood for 3-4 days , as soft as freshly made.
