Cottage cheese pancakes
Simple to prepare and very light, cottage cheese pancakes are prepared by adding cottage cheese to the batter.
There is nothing better than starting the day with a rich and tasty breakfast . Among our favorite recipes are cottage cheese pancakes, i.e. pancakes prepared with cottage cheese. This ingredient has been enjoying some success in recent times and has become the protagonist of various recipes.
Preparing pancakes with cottage cheese is really simple while, as regards the way to serve them, you can choose between the classic maple syrup , a hazelnut cream, a jam or everything that your sweet tooth suggests.
How to make cottage cheese pancakes recipe
- Break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and milk flakes and mix well with a whisk. It would be better, for this recipe, to use small-sized cottage cheese .
- Then add the vanilla extract, flour and baking powder and continue mixing until you obtain a smooth batter .
- Oil a non-stick pan and form your pancakes using two tablespoons of dough each.
- Cook over medium heat until you notice bubbles begin to form on the surface. At this point, using a spatula, flip the pancakes and continue cooking for another couple of minutes.
- As they are ready, stack the pancakes on a plate . Serve them topped with maple syrup if desired.

storage
Once cooked, the pancakes will keep in the refrigerator for a couple of days. You can reheat them either in a pan or in the microwave before serving.
