Orange and yogurt cake
Soft and fragrant, the orange and yogurt cake (also in the variant with Greek yogurt) is the perfect way to start the day.
Breakfast cakes are perfect for starting the day on the right foot. The idea that when we wake up there is something genuine and delicious waiting for us could be the push we need to get out of bed. This is why we decided to prepare an orange and yoghurt cake, soft beyond imagination.
The scent that will be released in your home will be something incredible and you won't even be able to wait for it to cool down to taste it. The preparation, like all these cakes, is really simple. All you need is some kitchen whisks , the classic ingredients such as eggs, sugar, oil and flour and obviously some organic oranges . Set aside the quarter of an hour it takes to prepare it and you will thank us all week!

How to prepare the orange and yogurt cake recipe
First, break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar and whip with an electric whisk until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Then add the yogurt and oil and continue mixing.
Wash the oranges well and dry them. Make sure they are organic and not treated on the surface. Grate the zest and squeeze the juice and add both to the previous mixture.
Finally, all that remains is to incorporate the sifted flour with the yeast .
Pour the mixture into a 22-24 cm diameter pan lined with baking paper or oiled and floured and cook at 180°C for 40 minutes , testing with a toothpick before taking out of the oven.

Orange cake and Greek yogurt
Greek yogurt is enjoying some success, thanks to its high protein content and low fat content, and there are more and more recipes featuring it. For example, you can use it to prepare the orange cake recipe by replacing the traditional one . However, keep in mind that its consistency is denser and therefore milk will need to be added to restore the balance.
To prepare the orange and Greek yogurt cake , replace the 125 g of yogurt called for in the recipe with 100 g of Greek yogurt and 30 g of milk, orange juice or water. Et voilĂ : the game is done!
Conservation
The orange cake can be kept as soft as freshly made for 3-4 days under a cake tin.
