Air Fryer Chicken Rolls
Tasty and with a stringy filling, air fryer chicken rolls are perfect for family dinners when you don't know what to cook.
Four ingredients are enough to bring to the table a quick and easy second course that will please everyone. We are talking about air fryer chicken rolls, perfect for family dinners and ideal to accompany with a multitude of side dishes.
To prepare them so good, we decided to insert a slice of ham and a stick of scamorza inside the rolls, but any other stringy cheese you have available is fine. Once the rolls have been prepared, they should be dipped in breadcrumbs and fried – not fried – in an air fryer . In short, few calories but lots of taste.
How to make air fryer chicken rolls recipe
- First beat the meat to make it thin. This way cooking will be quicker and the heat will also reach the center of the roll. You can also buy very thin slices of chicken and speed up the preparation even further.
- Season the meat with a pinch of salt and pepper then cover it with a slice of cooked ham cut to size. Place a cheese stick at one end and roll around it, tightening tightly.
- Pass them one by one in the breadcrumbs and, as they are ready, place them in the air fryer basket.
- Season them with a few puffs of oil and cook at 180°C for 20 minutes. Serve them piping hot with the heart still stringy.

storage
The chicken rolls will keep for 2-3 days in the refrigerator, well covered with cling film. You can heat them either in the pan or again in the fryer before enjoying them.
