Alcoholic watermelon – a truly original way to serve fruit

Are you wondering how to make watermelon and what are the secrets for this type of preparation? Alcoholic watermelon is nothing more than a simple, alternative and simple idea to offer fruit at the end of a dinner or at a party with friends. All you need to know is that this preparation resembles that of a classic fruit salad which, however, must be served with the addition of an alcoholic juice and above all with a nice mix of ingredients.
We have chosen: melon, cherries, peaches, strawberries and of course the pulp of the watermelon. What we propose is a basic recipe that you can vary according to your taste and the availability of ingredients. For example, you can use less alcohol and more juice, or you can replace the vodka with another alcohol of your choice. Have fun trying more combinations!
Preparation of alcoholic watermelon
- First take the watermelon and with the help of a knife remove the upper part of the cap . Remove all the watermelon pulp a little at a time and set aside.
- Peel the melon and cut it into cubes , then clean and cut the rest of the fruit, including the watermelon pulp, as if you were preparing a classic fresh fruit salad.
- Meanwhile, also prepare the syrup : put the sugar, fruit juice and vodka in a bowl.
- Mix well to dissolve the sugar. Transfer the alcoholic juice inside the watermelon, add the fruit and mix .
- Cover the watermelon with its cap and put everything in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.

The prepared watermelon can be stored in the refrigerator for two days after preparation.
