Preparation
Soft apple pie without butter
Take half of the apples you have available, wash and peel them. Cut into small cubes or slices and sprinkle them with lemon juice , so as not to oxidize them.
At this point, whisk the eggs with the sugar and once you have obtained a homogeneous mixture, add the oil gradually, continuing to stir.
Continue incorporating the sifted yeast and flour , cinnamon to taste and lemon zest , finally add the milk and apple cubes. Mix the mixture until it is nice and smooth.
Take the other apples and cut them into thin slices. You will need these to decorate the dessert. You can arrange them in a radial pattern or have fun to create the visual effect you like best.
Once done, grease the cake pan with a little oil and line it with baking paper. Pour the mixture and arrange the apple slices on the surface. All you have to do is bake the cake in the oven at a temperature of 180°C for about 45 minutes . Before taking it out of the oven, proceed as always with the toothpick test .
Remove from the oven and let the cake cool completely before removing it from the mold. If desired, decorate with a sprinkling of icing sugar .
