The arrival of autumn is accompanied by the appearance of the first pumpkins. This sweet and versatile ingredient will be with us until almost spring so we have plenty of time to experiment with new recipes with pumpkin. Today it's the turn of baked pumpkin triangles, quick and delicious, a side dish (but also an appetizer), easy to make.

Crispy on the outside, thanks to the breadcrumb covering, soft and tasty on the inside thanks to the spices and aromas, the baked breaded pumpkin triangles are really simple to prepare. It will take about ten minutes before they are ready for cooking: try it!

How to prepare the recipe for baked pumpkin triangles

  1. First of all, get yourself a good pumpkin : when you cut it you will understand that it is good by its scent. Make triangles about half a centimeter thick.
  2. Remove the peel all around and set aside for a moment.
  3. In a dish, mix the oil with the paprika and the finely chopped garlic .
  4. In another dish, add the breadcrumbs , a pinch of salt and the rosemary chopped with a knife.
  5. Pass the pumpkin slices first in the oil and then in the breadcrumbs.
  6. As they are ready, place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  7. Cook them at 220°C for 30 minutes , making sure they are ready by piercing them with the tines of a fork.
  8. Serve them piping hot.

The baked pumpkin slices are good alone or accompanied with a sauce of your choice, such as yogurt, fresh and light. Furthermore, if you liked this recipe, we recommend you also try pumpkin with cheese : you won't regret it!

Conservation

Baked pumpkin is good freshly made, hot and crunchy. In fact, over time it tends to lose part of its characteristic consistency. However, if you have leftovers, you can reheat it in a pan or in the oven before consuming it.
