Simple but delicious like never before, the blended apple cake is a quick and easy dessert, a variation of the classic recipe with blended apples.

One of the positive aspects of the arrival of autumn is the possibility of baking one apple pie after another. In fact, there are many versions that are not only able to satisfy different diets, but are also perfect if you want to experiment with unusual preparations. Frullamela cake, also known as apple bread , is an apple cake with apple blended into the dough (and an original name).

It goes without saying that this step will give your dessert a moist and soft consistency , different from those you have tried so far. How to prepare the blended apple pie recipe

  1. First, peel the apples and remove the core. If you use an organic variety you can also leave the peel.
  2. Transfer them to a blender, sprinkle them with lemon juice to prevent blackening and blend until you obtain a puree.
  3. At this point, if you have a large mixer, you can continue adding the ingredients in the order we will indicate, otherwise transfer the mixture into a bowl and continue with a kitchen whisk.
  4. Add the eggs , sugar , lemon zest and oil and blend everything together. Finally, add the flour and yeast . Mix (or blend) until you obtain a smooth mixture.
  5. Transfer it into a buttered and floured springform pan or one lined with baking paper, 24-26 cm in diameter and cook at 180°C for 50 minutes, testing with a toothpick before taking it out of the oven.
  6. Let it cool completely before decorating as desired with a sprinkling of icing sugar.

Conservation

This cake will also keep out of the refrigerator for about 2-3 days . Remember to leave it in a cool, dry place, away from heat or light sources and preferably inside a special glass bell jar for desserts. We do not recommend freezing in the freezer.
