A further evolution of classic bread is air fryer bread. Yes, because in this recipe we combine the speed and simplicity of preparation with quick cooking that does not require turning on the oven.
In short, air fryer bread is one of those recipes that is worth writing down. Of course, such speed must be accompanied by the right resting and leavening times , which are essential for obtaining light, honeycombed bread. A cooked face can be kept for a few days and is also perfect for making excellent bruschetta.
How to make air fryer bread recipe
- First, combine the water, yeast and sugar in a bowl and mix until they have dissolved.
- Then add the flour and salt, mixing quickly with a fork. Don't worry if the dough is lumpy , the following steps will make it perfect.
- At this point it is necessary to give strength to the dough . Using a pan licker, take the dough along the edges and bring it towards the center, pressing a little. Go all the way around then cover and let rise again for 15 minutes. Repeat this operation a total of 3 times.
- Now transfer the dough to the refrigerator for a minimum of 8 hours (maximum 24).
- After this maturation time, transfer the dough onto the floured pastry board and spread it out with your hands. Make 3 rounds of folds in threes, always leaving 15 minutes to pass between one and the other.
- Then form a loaf and let it rise in the bowl covered with a cloth for 2 hours.
- Then transfer it with a firm movement into the air fryer basket lined with perforated baking paper and cook at 180°C for 20 minutes , turning it halfway through cooking.
- Let it cool completely on a rack before serving.
