Cocoa water cake

Who would have imagined that preparing a dessert without eggs or butter would be so simple? The cocoa water cake is a very simple recipe to make. It falls into the category of vegan desserts and to prepare it you will only need a few ingredients, a bowl and electric whisks. Let's see how to prepare this light cake!
Ingredients
For the cocoa water cake
- Flour 00 – 200 g
- Bitter cocoa powder – 30 g
- Brown sugar – 150 g
- Water – 250 ml
- Seed oil – 50 ml
- Baking powder – 1 sachet
- Vanillin – 1 sachet
- Fine salt – 1 pinch
To decorate
- Powdered sugar – to taste
Preparation
Cocoa water cake recipe
Place the water and sugar in a bowl. Work the mixture until the sugar has dissolved, then add the oil and a pinch of salt .
Now add the sifted flour with the baking powder , vanilla and cocoa . It is very important that the latter is well sieved or lumps will form. Mix with the help of an electric whisk to incorporate air and make the dough swell. At this stage, you can decide whether to add some aromas. We will prepare it in the basic version, but you can flavor it with cinnamon or orange zest if you like.
Pour the mixture into a springform pan with a diameter of 18-20 cm lined with baking paper or sprayed with the appropriate remover. Cook the chocolate cake without butter at 180°C for 40 minutes . Before taking it out of the oven, as always, proceed with the toothpick test .
Let it cool before serving, finishing with icing sugar if desired.

Conservation
Store the water cake under a glass bell jar, at room temperature, for about 4 days .
