Cod in air fryer

Let's prepare a light, fish-based second course, namely cod in the air fryer.

The recipe for air fryer cod is a lighter version of a tasty and delicious dish (but rest assured, it will be just as good). It is a very tasty fish-based second course: the cod meat has an excellent flavour, which is enhanced even more by air cooking .

You can accompany it with fried potatoes (like a classic fish and chips) or with whatever you prefer, to obtain a delicious dish at the right level. Eating fish this way has never been so delicious!

Ingredients

  • Desalted cod fillets – 400 g
  • Remilled semolina – to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil – to taste

Preparation

Before starting the recipe, desalt the cod fillets at least partially.

Remove the skin, if it is still there, and the remaining bones. Dry them carefully , using absorbent paper or a clean cloth.

Pour the semolina into a bowl with low sides and pass one fish fillet at a time through it. Press on all sides, to ensure the flour adheres well to the entire surface. Arrange them one by one on a plate.

Brush a little olive oil on the bottom and sides of the fryer. Now position the cod, spacing the various fillets apart.

Cook in a preheated airfryer at 190°C for 20-25 minutes ; halfway through cooking, remember to turn the fillets to cook the other side.

Conservation

Storage is not recommended ; you can cover it for a few hours during the day and heat it if necessary.
