Dry biscuits recipe

Dry biscuits

How to prepare dry biscuits at home? The recipe for a healthy snack or a quick snack to munch on.

Dry biscuits are those sweets always put in a corner and underestimated only because they are lighter than classic shortbread biscuits or cookies enriched with chocolate. In our opinion, however, these biscuits are a real discovery, especially those prepared at home (where you can vary the flour to prepare them and also the liquid part, enrich them with a little honey or cocoa powder). Let's see the basic recipe for making these quick desserts at home, then it will be up to you to customize it .

Preparing the dry biscuits recipe

  1. Take the powders and sift them into a bowl .
  2. Add the milk and oil and mix everything well until you obtain a firm dough.
  3. At this point, roll out the dough with a rolling pin on the floured work surface until you obtain a sheet of approximately 3 mm thick .
  4. Make the biscuits using the shape you prefer and place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for about 13-15 minutes , taking care that they do not darken too much.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool before tasting them.

And here's a very easy recipe, but one that certainly won't make you regret it. You can enjoy them with a good cup of tea, a cappuccino , or use them as a snack for children during break time at school!

Conservation

We recommend storing the biscuits for a maximum of 5-6 days in a special tin box with a lid. We do not recommend freezing in the freezer.
