Pour a few tablespoons of seed oil into a pan, add the garlic and ginger and fry everything well before adding the chicken . Leave to cook for a few minutes, allowing the meat to brown on the outside, then lower the heat and add the soy sauce .

Separately, mix about half a glass of water with the cornstarch , so that it dissolves completely, then add the liquid to the pan and mix everything well, adding salt .

Stir occasionally, taking care not to dry out the sauce too much during cooking (you can add more water if needed). After about 15-20 minutes the chicken will be ready to be brought to the table, perhaps served with basmati rice , to make it a unique and substantial dish.

Alternatively you can use powdered ginger . Just pay attention to the quantities: if you are not used to using this spice, the final result could prove too pungent. For this reason we recommend adding it gradually so as to evaluate according to your palate.

Conservation

We recommend storing the chicken, with all its juices, in the fridge in a special container with a lid for a maximum of 2-3 days . We do not recommend freezing in the freezer.
