Gluten-free baked pasta: everyone’s favorite dish

One of the most popular fast first courses by Italians is baked pasta. In this recipe, we will see how to prepare a tasty gluten-free baked pasta thanks to the set of ingredients that make it up. This version is one of the simple gluten-free first courses in which you can enjoy a classic recipe without the addition of wheat derivatives. This gluten-free baked pasta recipe is perfect for celiacs who, due to intolerance, cannot eat foods containing gluten. Preparation of the recipe for gluten-free baked pasta
- First, start with the preparation of the ragù . Take a saucepan and add plenty of oil and wait for it to go up to temperature.
- Finely chop the onion with a knife and fry it in the pan with the oil until it is wilted.
- At this point, add the minced meat and brown . Subsequently, add all the tomato puree and season with salt and pepper . If you prefer a less sour sauce, add a pinch of sugar.
- Cook the sauce for about an hour , remembering to mix it every now and then.
- Meanwhile, arrange the other ingredients. Proceed by cutting the mozzarella into cubes and put a pot of water to boil. When it is ready, add the pasta and drain it when it has reached half the cooking time indicated on the package .
- Put the pasta in a bowl and pour over the sauce, the béchamel and the two cheeses (parmesan and mozzarella).
- Mix all the ingredients and pour the pasta into a baking tray covered with parchment paper. Level everything well and place the pan in a preheated static oven at 180 ° C for about half an hour or so. At the end of the time, check the cooking with a fork and check that the mozzarella is well melted.
- If you want to create a crispy crust , activate the grill function of the oven and continuously check the cooking, so as not to risk burning everything. Gluten-free baked pasta can be eaten both very hot and after 30 minutes of rest.
If in addition to being intolerant to gluten, you are also intolerant to lactose, you can prepare a variant , that is gluten-free baked pasta with lactose-free bechamel. Just prepare the milk-free bechamel at home with vegetable milk, flour and extra virgin olive oil. In this way, even those who are allergic or lactose intolerant can enjoy a nice plate of gluten and lactose-free baked pasta.

Gluten-free baked pasta can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days in an airtight container. Before eating it, it is advisable to take it out of the fridge a quarter of an hour in advance and heat it in a pan (over low heat and with a lid on it), in the oven or in the microwave.
