Preparing Ferrero Rocher with the artisanal recipe is really simple and just a few ingredients are needed. Here's how we prepare them!

Have you ever noticed that with the arrival of the first warm weather many chocolate delights disappear from supermarkets ? What a disappointment to have to give them up, they are so good and satisfying! As always, however, we are here to give you the solution which, in this case, consists in making Ferrero Rocher at home with our super easy recipe and the same as the original.

To prepare Ferrero Rocher the ingredients you will need are wafers , whole hazelnuts for the central core and chopped hazelnuts for the external covering, Nutella (after all, it was born in Ferrero itself) and milk chocolate . Except for melting the chocolate for the coating, you won't need a stove or anything else. These delicious chocolate and hazelnut nuggets are without cooking and are perfect to serve at the end of a meal with coffee . Imagine everyone's amazement when they see a box of homemade chocolates made by you!

  • Hazelnut wafers – 180 g
  • Hazelnut grains – 150 g
  • Nutella – 3 tablespoons
  • Milk chocolate – 100 g
  • Whole hazelnuts – 15

Preparation

How to prepare the homemade Ferrero Rocher recipe

Start by placing the wafers in a food processor and blending them into a flour. Transfer them into a bowl and add half the chopped hazelnuts , mixing quickly.

Then add the Nutella and mix with a spoon to form a firm mixture, easily workable even with your hands. Wet your hands and form balls about the size of a walnut.

Insert a toasted hazelnut in the center (here is our guide on how to toast hazelnuts ) and close tightly, rolling the mixture between your hands. As they are ready, place them on a plate. Transfer the balls to the refrigerator for half an hour.

Then melt the milk chocolate in a bain-marie (in a small pan or in the microwave). Dip the now firm balls one by one in the melted chocolate and then in the remaining chopped hazelnuts . Put the chocolates back on the plate and then back in the refrigerator.

Serve them by placing them inside paper cups or wrapping them individually in golden paper.
