How to dress for a New Year’s Eve in the mountains? The best outfits

Will you celebrate the beginning of the new year in the mountains? Here are some suggestions for the New Year’s outfit on the snow.
Spending New Year’s Eve in the mountains is the best way to celebrate the start of the new year. Taking care of the look is important in any way you decide to celebrate, but in the snow you have to pay particular attention. Being elegant without dying of cold, in fact, is not easy. If you have no idea what to wear, don’t worry, we’ll take care of giving you some advice on how to dress for a New Year’s Eve in the mountains.
New Year’s Eve in the mountains: outfits for dinner
Even in the mountains you have to adapt the New Year’s outfit to the type of celebrations and the place where they will be held. If you are going to spend an informal evening with friends and family in a cabin, you certainly do not need elegant clothes. A warm cable-knit wool sweater , or one of very warm chenille, jeans and fur ankle boots (such as UGG , for example, which never go out of style) will do just fine.
If, on the other hand, you will celebrate in an elegant restaurant or hotel, you will not be able to give up evening dresses. You don’t have to worry about being cold: the rooms are always super heated and to stay warm you just need to wear a cardigan and a fur coat on the dress , to take off once you enter. And then, there are also elegant and at the same time warm clothes, such as those in velvet or those in wool.

New Year’s Eve in the mountains: outfits for midnight in the square
Things get a little more complicated if you wait for midnight in the square . The night temperatures, in the mountain resorts, are in fact decidedly freezing. In this case, you are obliged to wear a down jacket , preferably long, padded and waterproof boots, heavy trousers (again, we suggest velvet), thermal socks and thick wool sweaters .

Hat, scarf and gloves are essential. To stay warmer, you can wear a maxi scarf over the down jacket, to be worn like a cape. Then the mulled wine and sparkling wine will take care of it to warm you up further!
