The custard recipe with the Thermomix is ​​a classic: the perfect filling for cream puffs, tarts and millefeuille desserts. It is a simple preparation, with a few basic ingredients that can be modified to create cake creams according to your taste.

Today we will show you the "modern" recipe for making it with the scent of lemon (or vanilla) with the help of the Thermomix. How to prepare custard with Thermomix

  1. Pulverize the sugar and lemon peel in the bowl for 20 seconds. speed Turbo .

We prepared the custard flavoring it with lemon but in the same way it is possible to make it with vanilla or using the peels of other citrus fruits such as orange or lime. In the case of vanilla, divide the berry in half, scrape out the internal seeds with a small knife and add them to the sugar. Then proceed as per the recipe.

For a chocolate cream , add 100 g of chopped dark chocolate when cooked but while it is still hot. Mix 1 min. speed 1 or until it has completely dissolved. Finally, you can also make it in a gluten-free version by replacing the flour with corn starch.

Conservation

The cream can be kept in the refrigerator for 3-4 days , well covered with cling film. If it compacts too much you can blend it with an immersion blender for a few moments before serving it.
