Muffins with chestnut flour

Muffins with chestnut flour

How delicious are the chestnut flour muffins, the fragrant and genuine cakes, with all the autumn flavour.

For a special autumn snack or a tasty breakfast, prepare some delicious muffins with chestnut flour. These are very soft and fragrant cakes , with a light and genuine dough, which is prepared in a very simple way. Thanks to chestnut flour, we can create desserts that contain the classic autumn flavor within them.

Fragrant and tasty, these muffins are prepared with only flour, milk, seed oil and sugar (you can therefore easily transform them into a 100% veg recipe by replacing cow's milk with vegetable milk). The dough is very easy to prepare and when cooked it will become so soft that it almost melts in your mouth. To make this dessert even richer, you can add chocolate chips . The unique flavor of chestnuts mixed with the sweet flavor of chocolate creates a truly irresistible mix.

Preparing the recipe for muffins with chestnut flour

  1. Combine the sugar, vegetable oil and milk in a bowl. Mix everything vigorously with a hand whisk to obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.

  3. Add these powders to the previous mixture a little at a time; mix continuously, so as not to leave lumps.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and stir the mixture to distribute them evenly.
  5. Take a muffin mold and fill each space with a baking cup.
  6. Fill each cup with a little dough, reaching 2/3 full.
  7. Place the mold in the oven and cook in ventilated mode at 170°C for 25 minutes .
  8. Test with a toothpick and, if it comes out dry, you can take the cakes out of the oven and let them cool.

If you want even more chocolaty sweets you can add about 25 g of bitter cocoa powder to the mixture.
