Happy hour is a real trend phenomenon. The aperitif moment is an opportunity to socialize while sipping something fresh and tasty in some trendy venue. Even at home with friends it is pleasant to be able to welcome them by serving them a non-alcoholic and fruit aperitif.
You can accompany this fresh drink with the usual appetizers, but above all with lots of healthy vegetables cut into strips presented according to your taste and imagination.
Preparation of the non-alcoholic aperitif cocktail
The basic recipe with orange, but if they are not in season we suggest replacing it with lime.
- To prepare your non-alcoholic fruit aperitif you need to get an empty jug which you will put in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
- When the container is very cold, remove it from the freezer and pour the fruit juice and non-alcoholic bitters into it. Mix everything well with a cocktail spoon, so that the bitters and fruit juice blend well.
- Now put your non-alcoholic fruit aperitif back in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours . During this time not only will the drink cool, but the bitters and fruit juice will mix together further enhancing their flavours.
- Now take the orange (or lime) and cut it into small wedges . Pass a segment of orange on the edge of each glass that you will use to serve your fruit aperitif and then dip it in granulated sugar . In this way each glass will have a sugary rim and a very pleasant taste on the lips.
- Serve your non-alcoholic fruit aperitif immediately.
Conservation
We advise you to enjoy the non-alcoholic cocktail immediately after preparation, but if you have leftovers you can keep it in the refrigerator, inside its carafe (which it would always be better to cover) for a couple of days .
