It is thanks to the condensed milk and cream that the ice cream, once ready, does not crystallize and will avoid taking on that typical flavor of ice. How to prepare Nutella ice cream without an ice cream maker

  1. Mix Nutella , condensed milk and vanilla until you get a paste.
  2. Whip the cream with an electric whisk and incorporate it into the previous mixture, mixing delicately from bottom to top with a spatula.
  3. Pour the cream into a low, wide container (a plum cake mold is perfect) and place it in the freezer for at least 4-5 hours .

How to prepare Nutella ice cream with an ice cream maker

  1. Pour the Nutella , condensed milk and vanilla extract into a bowl and mix well until you obtain a smooth cream. If the mixture is too doughy, don't worry, the next step will fix everything.
  2. Whip the cold cream from the refrigerator with an electric whisk.
  3. Incorporate it into the Nutella using delicate movements from bottom to top to avoid dismantling the mixture excessively.
  4. Pour the cream into the ice cream maker and operate it for a period of time in accordance with the appliance instructions. It usually takes about 20 minutes to get ice cream of the right consistency. Then remember that if you have a storage ice cream maker you will have to put the basket in the freezer in advance.
  5. Your ice cream is ready to be served or placed in the freezer until ready to serve.

You can keep Nutella ice cream in the freezer for 2-3 months . We advise you to bring it to room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving so that it becomes at least partly creamy again.
