  • Granulated sugar – 180 g
  • Eggs – 3
  • Seed oil – 80 ml
  • Flour 00 – 300 g
  • Organic oranges – 3
  • Baking powder – 1 sachet
  • Ground cinnamon – 2 teaspoons

How to prepare the soft orange and cinnamon cake recipe

First, take the zest of two oranges and then squeeze all three to obtain 250 ml of juice .

First of all, shell the eggs in a large bowl or in the bowl of a stand mixer, add the sugar and start mixing with an electric whisk until you obtain a light and creamy mixture.

Add the seed oil , the orange zest and, continuing to work, add the orange juice a little at a time, alternating it with the flour .

Also add the baking powder and cinnamon powder and mix until they are perfectly incorporated.

Pour the mixture thus obtained into a 24 cm diameter cake tin lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 minutes. Before removing the cake from the oven, carry out the classic toothpick test : if it comes out clean, the cake is cooked and you can remove it from the oven. Let cool completely before serving.
