Preparation

How to prepare the pan-fried chicken breast rolls recipe

1

For this preparation you need rather thin slices of chicken . You can buy them ready-made, but I recommend a cheaper solution: buy the whole chicken breast and prepare them yourself with a sharp knife. If they are too thick, simply beat them gently with the meat mallet.

2

Place a slice of chicken on the cutting board, salt and pepper it , then cover it with a slice of ham (cooked ham or speck will also be fine), some cheese and roll up. Secure the closure with a toothpick or close with a piece of string.

3

Dredge them one by one in the flour .

4

In a non-stick pan, heat a drizzle of oil with the garlic clove and aromatic herbs . We used sage and rosemary. Quickly brown the rolls, add the white wine , then cover and cook, adding a drop of water or vegetable broth if necessary. It will take about 15 minutes for the meat to cook in the center as well.

The preparation is very simple but we still leave you a short video of a recipe similar to ours. The choice is yours whether or not to add cherry tomatoes and olives to make the rolls even tastier.

This dish, however, is really simple to customize. If you love strong flavours, before securing the rolls with string or toothpick, wrap them with a slice of bacon. In a similar way you can make delicious baked chicken rolls .

Conservation

We recommend storing this easy and tasty second course of meat for a maximum of 2-3 days in the fridge, inside a container with an airtight lid. We do not recommend freezing in the freezer.
